No. Phi provides the full kit: kite, board, bar and lines, harness, helmet, and an impact vest if needed. Just bring swimwear, reef-friendly sunscreen, and a water bottle.
The Northeast-monsoon season runs November to April — steady side-onshore wind averaging 15–25 knots. The strongest and most consistent period is December to February. Summer (May–October) still has wind but it's less reliable; the surf season actually improves.
